After a few hours of thought and a couple hours of jig making, I made the template/jig shown. The Plunge Router has three depth settings. I have it set up for both depths needed for the Soss Hinges. The router also came with a 1/2" bit (never used). It also comes with adaptors to use smaller shaft bits. This photo shows the template jig that I made to cut the two level holes needed for the hinges. Just take out the spacers for the first cut, change the depth on the router (Preset for you) and make the cut.
